Infinite Poetry looks at the idea of poetry being stored as data in plant DNA, yes that is actually a possibility! We call it future clothing.

This earthy design is called Keira. We used the roots and petals of the Vanda orchid and pretended to store the words of ‘Dis Poem’ by Mataburka. The result of this combination, is this Jamaican-style muted print, complimented by earthy tones. For the photoshoot we utilised boxy garments, reflecting the DNA structure. We imagined the model tormented by the poem repeating in her mind.

You can buy the design as a long scarf measuring 60 x 190cm and is printed on a silk cotton mix. If you’d like the green boxy or jute garments made please get intouch via our contact page.
